High Fidelity
This band is hot wired to the classic era of bluegrass music, and we are so very pleased to bring them up from Tennessee. Their name, High Fidelity, speaks to their faith and connection to the recordings of the 50’s and 60’s. Featuring the harmony vocals of Jeremy Stephens (guitar) and Corrina Rose Logston Stephens (fiddle), this group works to capture the “brother-style” sounds of Don Reno & Red Smiley, The Stanley Brothers, and the Louvin Brothers. They also come by this connection directly, having worked with Jesse McReynolds & the Virginia Boys prior to Jesse’s passing in 2023.
Filling out this traditional sound is Kurt Stephenson on banjo duties and harmony vocals and Daniel Amick on mandolin and whatever else the band needs at the time. Kurt is the 2010 National Bluegrass Banjo Champion and Daniel has won numerous instrumental contests across the southeast including the IBMA’s 2019 Instrumentalist of the Year Momentum Award. These are first class musicians.
High Fidelity is a not-to-be missed opportunity to go back in time. With credits like a first-place award with the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) Awards and multiple International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) artist nominations, this band is set to produce a live High Fidelity sound that will please even the most discerning bluegrass audiophile.
