For children ages 4 to 18.
Saturday, January 17, 2026
9:30 am to 1:30 pm with a class performance at 1:00 pm on the Northern Bluegrass Circle Stage.
Lunch is included.
(an adult Saturday festival pass is required to register your child)

Chaperone is required to attend with younger children. Chaperone’s of older children must remain on the festival site and will be asked for contact information.

• Students must bring their own instrument.
• Skill level recommendations
- Beginner with Melanie Smith-Doderai - children ages 4 to 7, should be able to play a song equivalent to “Hot Cross Buns”. The ability to play rhythmic bowing patterns woulld be an asset.
- Intermediate with Zachary Moostoos-Willer - childen ages 7 to 12, children should be able to play 2 to 3 fiddle/violin tunes.
- Advanced with Jarred Albright - children ages 13 to 18, children should be able to play 2 to 3 fiddle/violin tunes up to tempo.

• a minimum of 3 registrations are required to run each class to a maximum of 8 students per class.

We will start a waitlist when the classes are filled. If there are enough registrants, we will add another class.
